KENNESAW, Ga. -- The Kennesaw State women's basketball team is back on the road Saturday in ASUN conference action, traveling to Jacksonville for a 1 p.m. tip-off at Swisher Gymnasium.

Top Storylines
• The Owls would clinch a spot in the upcoming ASUN Tournament with a victory against JU or an NJIT loss to FGCU. If the season ended today, KSU would be the No. 6 seed and would travel to No. 3 JU.
• The Owls look to avenge a 93-83 loss to Jacksonville on Jan. 25. Alexis Poole dominated the game with 25 points and a perfect 11-for-11 showing at the charity stripe.
• Saturday's matchup features two of the top four offenses in the league, as JU is third in the ASUN at 70.4 points per game, while KSU is fourth at 68.2.
• Gillian Piccolino is the reigning ASUN Freshman and Newcomer of the Week. She has scored 70 points in her last four games, including the only two 20-point games of her young career.
• Kennesaw State has taken advantage of its trips to the free-throw line this season. The Owls rank 13th in the country from the line and lead the ASUN at 77.4 percent from the charity stripe.
• Alexis Poole has been incredible so far this season for Kennesaw State. She ranks 21st in the country in field goal percentage, draining 56.6 percent of her shots.
• One of the Owls' keys to victory this season has been rebounding the basketball. When Kennesaw State out-rebounds opponents, the Owls are 10-2 so far this season. When KSU is outrebounded, the Owls are 2-10.
• A trend that continues from last season, Amani Johnson rarely gets taken off the court. This season, she is averaging 38:50 minutes per contest, which ranks fifth in the country. She has played all 40 minutes in a game nine times this year.
• During the summer, it was announced that the Owls were ranked No. 20 in the WBCA Academic rankings. The Owls were the sole program in the ASUN to receive the honor as well as the only program in the state of Georgia to be recognized on the list. KSU ended the season with a 3.54 GPA.
• This past fall, the team achieved a GPA of 3.37, as all ten student-athletes were above a 3.0 GPA with four student-athletes on the Dean's list.
Noting Jacksonville
• Jacksonville has won five of its last seven games, including a 69-60 road victory at North Florida last time out.
• The Dolphins lead the ASUN in five different statistical categories, including free throw attempts, offensive rebounds per game, steals per game, 3-point defense and turnovers forced.
• The Dolphins rank second in the league in rebounds per game and have outrebounded their opponent in six of the last seven games.
• Destiny Marshall leads JU with 14.9 points per game, while Shakayla Nevitt is the only other player in double figures at 13.4 points per contest.
• Jada Perry ranks third in the ASUN and 70th in the country with 40 blocked shots on the year.
