Match Preview
The Kennesaw State women's tennis travel to Davidson, N.C. taking on Davidson College Wednesday (Feb. 12) at the Knobloch Tennis Center.
 
Scouting Davidson
The Wildcats are 1-3 on the season and 0-1 in Atlantic 10 Conference play. With a win over Queens University of Charlotte and losses to Furman, East Tennessee State and Richmond.  
 
The Series
Wednesdays match will be the first meeting between the two programs.
 
The Last Time Out
Kennesaw State came up on the short end of a 4-3 decision to Georgia Southern on Sunday (Feb. 9). The match began on Saturday afternoon but was postponed on Sunday due to weather.

In doubles, KSU got a 7-5 win from Taylor Dean and Paola Cortez over Paula Boixader and Charlotte Van Diemen. Tina Vlajic and Aspen Jarrett fell 7-6 to Ariane de Winter and Mila Hartig. The Eagles would go on to clinch the doubles point.
 
Taylor Dean got the Owls on the board in singles with a 6-4, 6-2 win over Paula Boixader. The Eagles would pick up two wins to push the lead to 3-1 before the rains came. Aspen Jarrett, Tina Vlajic and Sofia Pinedo will conclude their matches on Sunday morning.
 
The final three singles matches were finished on Sunday after rain postponed the match with Georgia Southern leading 3-1 on Saturday.
 
Aspen Jarrett defeated Elizabeth Goines 6-2, 1-6, 7-5 to cut the lead to 3-2. Tina Vlajic secured a victory over Arianne De Winter 4-6, 6-4, 7-6.
 
Next Up
The Owls turn around to host ASA Miami Saturday (Feb.15) at 12 p.m. on the Betty Siegel Courts at KSU.
