• Kennesaw State is looking for its first conference win of the season at the KSU Convocation Center against Jacksonville.
• The Owls are coming off a 80-63 loss at FGCU.
Alexis Poole was dynamic all night and ended with 23 points and 12 rebounds.

Carlotta Gianolla has been unstoppable in conference play so far this season. The senior is averaging 14.0 points per contest to go along with 4.6 rebounds. With her first point against FGCU, she surpassed the 1,000th point mark in her career.
• 3-point shooting has been an issue for the Owls all season (ranked 307th in the NCAA), but
Breanna Hoover has been the lone star, shooting 50 percent in conference play.
• Kennesaw State has taken advantage of its trips to the free-throw line this season. The Owls rank 22nd in the country from the line, shooting at a 76.2 percent clip.

Alexis Poole has been incredible so far this season for Kennesaw State. She ranks 41st in the country in double-doubles with seven in the 16 games that she has played.
• Poole is efficient from the floor, as she is shooting 58.2 percent, a figure that leads the ASUN and ranks 23rd in the country.
• One of the Owls' keys to victory this season has been rebounding the basketball. When Kennesaw State out-rebounds opponents, the Owls are 7-1 so far this season. When KSU is outrebounded, the Owls are 1-7.

Amani Johnson has displayed incredible vision this season for the Owls. The sophomore ranks first in the ASUN in assists per game (4.0), which ranks 127th in the country.
 • A trend that continues from last season,
Amani Johnson rarely gets taken off the court. This season, she is averaging 38:52 minutes per contest, which ranks fourth in the country.
• During the summer, it was announced that the Owls were ranked No. 20 in the WBCA Academic rankings. The Owls were the sole program in the ASUN to receive the honor as well as the only program in the state of Georgia to be recognized on the list. KSU ended the season with a 3.54 GPA.
• This past fall, the team achieved a GPA of 3.37, as all ten student-athletes were above a 3.0 GPA with four student-athletes on the Dean's list.

• Jacksonville comes into the game a 10-8 record and a 2-3 mark in conference play. Earlier in the season, the Dolphins beat Mercer 87-83, the two programs' only common non-conference opponent.
• The Dolphins look to get back on track after falling to UNF 70-64 on Monday.
• Jacksonville is led by Destiny Marshall, who is averaging 16.2 points per contest this season.
• Da'Nasia Shaw is impressive behind the arc, netting over 60 percent of her 3-point attempts.
