• Kennesaw State is looking for its first win over FGCU since Feb. 14, 2011 and first away from the KSU Convocation Center.Â
• The Owls are coming off a 77-64 win at NJIT, the Owls first back-to-back road wins since the 2017-18 season.Â
• Carlotta Gianolla has been unstoppable in conference play so far this season. The senior is averaging 16.3 points per contest to go along with 5.8 rebounds. With her first point against FGCU, she will surpass the 1,000th point mark in her career.Â
• 3-point shooting has been an issue for the Owls all season (ranked 295th in the NCAA), but the Owls bucked the trend and shot 41.2 percent against Lipscomb. Bre Hoover was impactful from behind the arc as she knocked down five. Against NJIT, the Owls shot 33.3 percent from deep.Â
• Kennesaw State has taken advantage of its trips to the free-throw line this season. The Owls rank 18th in the country from the line, shooting at a 76.6 percent clip.Â
• Alexis Poole has been incredible so far this season for Kennesaw State. She ranks 50th in the country in double-doubles with six in the 15 games that she has played. She has already collected an ASUN Player of the Week award, which came after week one of the season.Â
• Poole is efficient from the floor, as she is shooting 58.5 percent, a figure that leads the ASUN and ranks 22nd in the country.
• One of the Owls' keys to victory this season has been rebounding the basketball. When Kennesaw State out-rebounds opponents, the Owls are 7-0 so far this season. When KSU is outrebounded, the Owls are 1-7.
• Amani Johnson has displayed incredible vision this season for the Owls. The sophomore ranks first in the ASUN in assists per game (4.2), which ranks 125th in the country.Â
• A trend that continues from last season, Amani Johnson rarely gets taken off the court. This season, she is averaging 38:44 minutes per contest, which ranks fifth in the country.
• During the summer, it was announced that the Owls were ranked No. 20 in the WBCA Academic rankings. The Owls were the sole program in the ASUN to receive the honor as well as the only program in the state of Georgia to be recognized on the list. KSU ended the season with a 3.54 GPA.

• FGCU comes into the game with an 1802 record, including a perfect 5-0 record in ASUN play.Â
• The Eagles are currently ranked No. 5 in the latest Mid Major Top 25 poll.
• FGCU is led by Davion Wingate, who is averaging 16.8 points per contest. Keri Jewett-Giles is just as impressive, as she pours in 16.3 points per contest.Â
• As a team, FGCU has outscored opponents 1,588 to 1,168.
• The Eagles have two wins over Power Five schools this season (LSU and Duke).
