Final Results
TOLEDO, OHIO- The Kennesaw State men's golf team finished in 15
th place at the Inverness Intercollegiate at the Inverness Club on Tuesday.
KSU posted a 20-over par 304 to finish the tournament at 71-over par 923. Texas Tech won the event with 4-over par total of 856.
"We counted very respectable scores today from Ryan, Preston and Brock who played as an individual," head coach
Bryant Odom said. "We have a quick turnaround before the next event so hopefully they take some momentum with them."
Ryan Hines carded a 1-over par 72 on Tuesday to lead the Owls. After an opening with a triple bogey, he rebounded to play his final 17 holes in 2-under par. He finished the tournament tied for 52
nd 13-over 226.
Preston Topper shot a 2-over par 73 and tied for 57
th at 15-over 228. He rolled in 14 pars finishing in a tie for 57
th at 15-over par 228.
Brady Keran recorded a 6-over par 78 on Tuesday and finished in a tie for 79
th at 23-over par 236.
Connor Coffee tied for 84
th and
Justin Kim finished 90
th at 25-over par and 31-over par respectively.
Brock Healy played as an individual this week. He fired a 1-over par 72 and took home a tie for 66
th at 18-over par 231.
The Owls will return to action Sept. 30 – Oct.1 at the J.T. Poston Invitational in Sapphire, N.C.
