Final Results
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Kennesaw State cross country teams competed at the Commodore Classic at Percy Warner Park on Saturday.
The meet was hosted by Vanderbilt and featured schools from across the country.
In the men's 8k,
Mekhi Williams paced the Owls running a time of 26.06.8.
Koi Williams was the second Owl to cross the line finishing 97
th in a time of 26:46.8.
Austin Muse took home 112
th place in 27:07.5.
Peter Brooks (136
th ; 29:00.2) and
Cameron Paulk (138
th ; 29:25.7) rounded out the scoring for the Owls who finished 14
th.
The women's team was led in the 6K by
Katie Meyer for the second consecutive meet. Meyer finished 55
th in 22:36.9.
Sarah Hendrick ran a time of 23:15.5 to finish 93
rd.Â
Rachel Van Amburgh posted a time of 23:38.6 to finish 116
th.
Hope Thornton grabbed 174
th in 25:35.1 while
Brooke Aumer was 178
th in 25:42.5.
Ella Weaver collected 183 and
Jordan Rozier finished 186
th in times of 25:59.4. and 26:22.8 respectively. The Owls finished 17th.Â

- The Commodore Classic was the Owls first meet of 2019.
