KENNESAW, Ga. – The Kennesaw State Department of Athletics will have 51 current and former student-athletes graduating this year with 40 walking across the stage this week and an additional 11 participating in commencement exercises later this summer.
"We are excited for this great group of student-athletes who have worked so hard in the classroom to accomplish their goals," said Director of Athletics
Milton Overton. "Our mission as a department is to build champions on the field, in the classroom, in the community and in life and graduating young men and women is at the center of what we strive to do on a daily basis. These are some truly outstanding student-athletes and we know they will represent Kennesaw State well as leave The Nest and enter our communities."
Along with 51 graduates, four teams earned recognized in the latest APR public recognition for being in the top 10 percent in the nation. Men's golf, women's lacrosse, women's tennis and volleyball were all recognized for the 2017-18 academic year.
