Jordan Gray and Katie Meyer were named to the ASUN Women's Outdoor Track and Field All-Academic Team, the conference announced on Tuesday, May 28.

Gray recently graduated with a degree in integrative studies. She finished with a 3.49 GPA. Gray was named MVP of the ASUN Championship after scoring 31 points. That jump ranked No.1 in the ASUN and 32nd in the NCAA East Region this season. The redshirt-senior grabbed a silver medal in the shot put 14.65m (48'0.75"). That toss set a new school record. The Ball Ground, Georgia native finished second in javelin with a throw of 39.07m (128' 2") and was fourth in the pole vault clearing 3.27m (10'8.75"). She also was named Most Valuable Field Performer of the ASUN Championship. She was sixth in the discus with a career-best toss of 40.98m (134' 5"). She won the heptathlon at the Virginia Challenge with a career-best 5681 points. That total was good for fifth in the NCAA East Region and 11th in the NCAA this season. Gray earned a spot on the all-academic team for the third time in her career.

Meyer was a unanimous selection to the all-academic team. The sophomore carries a 4.00 GPA while majoring in environmental science. She won the silver medal in the 3000m steeplechase in a time of 10:41.51 at the ASUN Championship. That time set a school record, was the top time by an Owl in that event this season and was the second fastest time in the ASUN this season. She took home the bronze medal in the 5K in a career-best time of 17:34.72. That time was the sixth fastest in program history. The Roswell, Ga. native ran a career-best time of 4:42.51 at Don McGarey Invitational to finish second in the 1500m.

Gray will compete at the 2019 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships (June 7-8) in Austin, Texas in the heptathlon.
