4x100m relay results | Shot Put Results
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Five members of the Kennesaw State track and field teams wrapped up action at the NCAA Track and Field Championships East Regional Saturday, May 25 at Hodges Stadium on the campus of the University of North Florida.
Tyler Blalock finished 16
th in the shot put with a career-best toss of 18.21m (59'9"). That throw set a new school record.
The Owls 4x100m relay team of
Jordan Hewing,
Omar Diaz,
Aaron Goodwin and
DJ Akindele posted a season-best time of 40.01 to finish 18
th. That time established a new school record in the event.

"I can't say enough about what a great job our staff and student athletes did this weekend! You always want to perform well at the first round of the NCAA Championship and that is exactly what we did. We got some people that have very bright futures for the Owls!"
Daniel Haugh, Jordan Gray and
Paris Williams will compete for the Owls at the NCAA Track and Field Championships finals in Austin, Texas at Mike a Myers Stadium.
