KENNESAW, Ga. – The first Kennesaw State softball camp of the summer is just over a week away and spots are still available! Register now for Head Coach Tripp MacKay's first hitting session of the summer with training sessions and camps running through the end of July.
 
In total, the Owls will hold 12 camps during the summer, including four personal hitting sessions with coach MacKay, six pitching sessions with assistant coach Camden Decker and two prospect camps. To register, head to trippmackaycamps.com.
 
The camps are open to players ranging from fourth grade through 12th grade depending on the clinic and will be held at Bailey Park on the KSU campus. Camps are designed for beginners and advanced players with campers learning valuable skills from both the KSU coaches and players.
 
Individual hitting sessions will focus on swing fundamentals to help trouble shoot your swing and find things to improve on.
 
During the pitching sessions, players will receive individualized instruction in a small group setting, learning the very same pitching philosophies that we use with our players to develop pitches, build consistent mechanics and advance accuracy.
 
The Owls first prospect camp of the summer offers skill instruction with controlled scrimmages in the afternoon. The second camp is a player ID camp in which athletes will be put through a series of drills designed to measure their current skill level and identify each athlete's strengths and weaknesses.
 
There will also be additional prospect camps in the months of July and August. Check trippmackaycamps.com throughout the summer for added dates and times.
