Match Preview
The Kennesaw State men's tennis team travels to NJIT on Wednesday (Apr. 10) for a match with the Highlanders.

The Owls are looking to collect their fourth ASUN win of the 2019 season having dispatched of Lipscomb, North Alabama and Stetson earlier this season.

A win would clinch the Owls a sport in the ASUN Tournament, which begins April 18 in Deland, Florida.

About the Owls
KSU is 9-11 and 3-2 in the ASUN.

The Owls enter play coming off a 4-3 win over Stetson on Saturday.

Sebastian Orsorio leads the Owls in singles with 10-6 record.
 
 Jose Galvez  is 4-0 in ASUN singles action this season.
 
Scouting NJIT
The Highlanders are 4-13 overall. They are 0-5 in ASUN play this season. Abdullah Fouad paces the Highlanders with a 10-6 record this spring

The Series
Wednesday's meeting with the fourth between the two programs. KSU is 3-0 all-time against NJIT.

The Last Time Out
The Kennesaw State men's tennis team picked up its third ASUN Conference win with a 4-3 victory over Stetson on Senior Day at the Betty Siegel Courts.
 
Seniors Lucas de Torres and Fermin Calvo Barcelo were honored prior to their final home match.
 
The Hatters took a tightly contested doubles points. KSU collected a win in doubles from Lucas de Torres Curth and Harvey Maughan who defeated  Josh Laka and Tim Gennes 6-3 at No. 1.
 
KSU would win the opening four singles matches to clinch the victory. Jose Galvez tied the match after beating Josh Laka 6-2, 6-1 at No. 6 for his fourth conference win. Bryan Triana picked up his second consecutive win beating Tim Gennes 6-4, 6-4 at No. 3 to give the Owls the lead. Moments later Sebastian Osorio took down Colin Macnamara  6-3, 6-1 on court four. In his final match at home as an Owl, Fermin Calvo Barcelo held off Clement Hamel 6-4, 6-3 on court one to clinch the match for the Owls.
 
The win was the Owls second in program history over the Hatters and vaults the Owls into a tie for fourth with Lipscomb in the ASUN standings with two regular season matches to go.
 
 
Next Up
The Owls will travel to Fort Myers, Florida to take on FGCU on Saturday, April 13 at 5 p.m.
