Match Preview
The Kennesaw State men's tennis team closes out its home schedule on Saturday, April 6^th when it hosts Stetson at 3 p.m. for Senior Day.
 
Seniors Lucas de Torres Curth and Fermin Calvo Barcelo will be honored prior to the match.
 
The Owls are looking for their third ASUN win having beaten Lipscomb and North Alabama last week.
 

About the Owls
KSU is 8-11 and 2-2 in the ASUN.

The Owls enter play coming off a 6-0 loss to No. 28 Georgia on March 31.

Sebastian Orsorio leads the Owls in singles with 9-6 record.
 
 Jose Galvez  is 3-0 in ASUN singles action this season.
 

Scouting Stetson
The Hatters are 9-10 overall this season. Stetson is 1-3 in ASUN conference play. They enter Saturday's match on a three-match losing streak. Christian Mills paces the Hatters with a 10-6 record.



The Series
Saturday's match between Kennesaw State and Stetson will be the 12th meeting between the two programs. Stetson leads the series 10-1. Stetson won 5-2 over KSU on April 5, 2018.



The Last Time Out
The Kennesaw State men's tennis team resumed ASUN Conference play with a 5-2 loss to North Florida on Thursrday (Apr. 4).
 
 UNF (10-9) won two doubles matches and took four of the six singles contests.
 
 
KSU (8-11) grabbed a win in doubles from Bryan Triana and Jose Galvez who beat Dominik Barton and Till Von Winning 6-2 on court three. 
 
 
In singles action the Owls collected a pair of wins.  Bryan Triana defeated Till Von Winning 7-5, 4-6, 6-4 and Jose Galvez was able to defeat Federico Nani 6-3, 5-7, 6-3.   
 

 Next Up
The Owls will travel to Newark, New Jersey to take on NJIT at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 10.
