Weekend Preview
The Kennesaw State men's tennis squad heads southeast to Statesboro for a pair of matches this weekend. KSU will face Winthrop on Saturday and Georgia Southern on Sunday.
KSU is looking to extend their win streak. The Owls knocked off Belmont on Sunday and Chattanooga on Wednesday.

Winthrop is 5-5 this season. The Eagles fell 5-2 to Georgia Southern on Friday (Mar.8).

Georgia Southern is 8-4 this season. They have won three of their last five matches.
The Last Time Out
The Kennesaw State men's tennis team picked up a 4-2 win over Chattanooga on Wednesday (Mar.6) inside the Guerry Tennis Center at the Baylor School.
The Mocs (8-6) picked up a very competitive doubles point taking two of the three matches. The Owls tandem of Harvey Maughan and Lucas de Torres Curth picked up a 6-2 win over Pablo Llebeili and Jacob Marshall at No.3.
In singles action, Sebastian Osorio defeated Simon Bustamante 6-4, 7-5 to cut the Mocs lead to 2-1. Moments later, Lucas de Torres Curth beat Kerim Hyatt 6-4, 6-2 at No. 3 to tie the match 2-2. KSU would move in front when Fermin Calvo Barcelo got past Niklas Gerdes 6-3, 7-5 at No.1. Cian Maguire clinched the match for the Owls when he defeated Pablo Libeli 6-2, 6-4 at No. 5.

Fermin Calvo Barcelo enters play needing two wins to tie Simon Pritchard for the most singles wins in program history. Calvo Barcelo enters play Saturday with a 59-29 overall record.
