Owls Shut Out North Alabama on Family Day

KENNESAW, Ga.-
The Kennesaw State men's tennis team picked up its second consecutive conference win beating North Alabama 4-0 on Saturday at the Betty Siegel Courts.
 
The Owls won the match by winning the doubles match and the first three singles matches that finished.
 
In doubles, Fermin Calvo Barcelo and Jack Sorel made quick work of George Markos and Cade Reasons winning 6-1 at No. 3.  Lucas de Torres Curth and Kevin Patel defeated Oscar Meslin and Andreas Hansen 6-4 at No. 2 to clinch the point.
 
The Owls went to work right away in singles picking up three victories in straight sets. Jose Galvez picked up his second straight win beating Cade Reasons 6-0, 6-3 at No. 5. Jack Sorel picked up his first win of the spring with a 6-1, 6-0 win over Tim Heslin. Sebastian Osorio clinched the win for the Owls defeating Gustavo Girao 6-0, 6-1 at No. 3.
The Owls will head to Athens to play Georgia on Sunday, March 31 at 5 p.m.
