AUSTIN, Texas –
Daniel Haugh and
Paris Williams wrapped up action for the Owls at the Texas Relays on Thursday (Mar.28).
School Record
- Daniel Haugh broke his own school record in the hammer throw with a toss of 71.68m (235'2") to finish second overall and as the top collegiate in the event.
- Paris Williams established a new school record with 7405 points in the decathlon.
- Williams broke his own school record in the decathlon javelin throw with a toss of 53.52m (175'7").
Decathlon Recap
Paris Williams took fourth in the decathlon with 7405 points. Williams posted career-best performances on the track in the 100m (10.89) and the 400m (49.73). The junior recorded personal-best marks of 12.59m (41'3.75") in the shot put and 53.52m (157'7") in the javelin.
