NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Kennesaw State men's tennis picked up a 5-2 win over Lipscomb on Thursday (Mar. 28) at the Huston-Marsh-Griffith Tennis Center.

The Owls (7-9, 1-1) snagged the doubles point winning two of the three doubles matches.
Fermin Calvo Barcelo and
Jack Sorel beat Pedro Uribe and David Skrabut  6-0 at No. 3.
Lucas de Torres Curth and
Kevin Patel got past Jake Penny and Francesco Tacconi 6-3 at No. 2 to clinch the point.

Sebastian Osorio opened up the Owls scoring in singles with a 6-1, 6-1 win over Jake Penny at No. 4. After the Bisons tied the match at one,
Bryan Triana gave the Owls the lead for good when he beat Pedro Uribe 6-4, 6-1 at No. 3.
Jose Galvez collected his first win of the spring with a 6-2, 6-2 win over Francesco Taconni at No. 6 to clinch the win for the Owls.
Kevin Patel came back from a set down to beat David Skrabut 2-6, 6-3, 10-6 at No. 6. Â

The Owls will return home to face North Alabama on Saturday, March 30 at 2 p.m. for Family Day on the Betty Siegel Courts at KSU.
