Kennesaw, Ga.- Sarah Hendrick was named ASUN Women's Outdoor Track and Field Freshman of the Week the conference announced Wednesday.
Hendrick ran a career-best time of 2:10.57 in the 800m at the Al Schmidt Bulldog Relays. That time ranks first in the ASUN and No.49 in the NCAA East Region this season. She also ran a leg on the Owls 4x400m relay team and the Owls 4x800m relay team. The 4x800m relay team set a new school record with a time of 9:14.44 to finish second. The 4x400m relay team posted a time of 3:47.59 to finish third. That time ranks second in the ASUN and No. 33 in the NCAA East Region this season.
The Owls will have athletes in action at Texas Relays and Florida Relays March 27-30.
