Outdoor Meet 3: Kennesaw State at Florida Relays
Date: Thursday-Saturday March 28-30
Location: Percy Beard Track| Gainesville, Florida

The Kennesaw State track and field teams will have athletes competing at a duo of meets this weekend. The Owls will have athletes in action at Texas Relays and Florida Relays.

Daniel Haugh, Paris Williams and Jordan Gray will compete at Texas Relays. A large contingent of Owls will be competing at the Florida Relays.

LAST TEAM OUTDOOR MEET
The Kennesaw State men's and women's track concluded competition at the Al Schmidt Bulldog Relays at the Mike Sanders Track Complex on Saturday. The Owls set one school record and recorded several personal-best performances.

Top Performances at the Al Schmidt Bulldog Relays

 Women's Top Performances

• Julija Tarvide finished fourth in the high jump clearing 1.70m (5'7").
• Sarah Hendrick took second in the 800m with a career-best time of 2:10.57.
• Caitlyn Farrell ran a time of 17:56.74 in the 5000m to finish third.
• Jirah Simpkins grabbed fourth in the 100m hurdles with time of 14.11.
• Abigail Chanase landed a personal-best leap of 11.86m (38'11") in the triple jump to finish ninth.
• The Owls 4x100m relay team of Alex Andrews, Briah McBride, Tionna Fant and Destiny Jackson took third in a time of 45.95.
• Zakirra McKinnon finished second in the 400m hurdles in a time of 1:02.16.
• Tionna Fant (24.37) and Destiny Jackson (24.45) finished second and third in the 200m.
• Alex Andrews posted a time of 11.91 in the 100m to grab fourth.
• The 4x400m relay team of Tionna Fant, Sarah Hendrick, Destiny Jackson and Jayla Mobley grabbed third place in a time of 3:47.59.

 
 
 Men's Top Performances

• Chase Kennedy ran a career-best time of 3:53.24 to finish second in the 1500m.
• DJ Akindele was fourth in the 110m hurdles with a time of 14.39.
• Tariq Bradford posted a career-best mark of 14.88m (48'10") to finish fourth.
• Chuck McConville finished second in the shot put with a personal-best toss of 16.46m (54'0").
• Jordan Hewing (21.34), Aaron Goodwin (21.35) and Omar Diaz (21.39) took ninth through 11^th place in the 200m.
