KENNESAW, Ga. – The Kennesaw State men's tennis team commenced ASUN Conference play with a 5-2 loss to Liberty on Saturday (Mar.23).
Liberty (7-9, 1-0) won two doubles matches and took four of the six singles contests.

In singles action,
Kevin Patel and
Fermin Calvo Barcelo each collected wins for the Owls. Patel won 6-3, 6-3 over Steve Mundt at No. 6. After a slow start, Calvo Barcelo was able to push past Nicaise Muamba 6-4, 6-4 at No. 1.

The Owls will travel to Nashville, Tennessee on Thursday (Mar.28) to face Lipscomb at 4 p.m. ET
