Final Results

ATLANTA, Ga.- The Kennesaw State men's and women's track finished competition at the Yellow Jacket Invitational at the George C. Griffin Track on Saturday.   


School Record

• Daniel Haugh established a new school record in the hammer throw with a toss of 70.80m (232'6") to win the event.

 
Women's Top Performances

• Erica Sergeant  cleared 4.00m (13'1.50") in the pole vault to win the event.
• Julija Tarvide finished fourth in the high jump clearing 1.70m (5'7").
• Bryana Scott had a personal-best toss of 42.36m (139'0") in the discus to finish eighth.
• Tionna Fant finished eighth in the 100m in a time of 12.05.
• Brenda Ayuk took eighth in the 800m with a time of 2:14.14. That time was the eighth fastest in program history.
• Olympia High posted a career-best time of 1:03.61 in the 400m hurdles to finish sixth.
• Katie Meyer registered a career-best time of 7:05.26 to finish fifth in the 2000m steeplechase.

Men's Top Performances

• Paris Williams was the top collegiate in the 110m hurdles in a time of 14.29 seconds.
• The 4x100m relay team of Jordan Hewing, Omar Diaz, Aaron Goodwin and Cameron Bolden finished second in a time of 40.65 seconds.
• Chuck McConville landed a career-best discus throw of 46.75m (153'4") to take fifth.
• Kameron Davis grabbed third in the 400m hurdles in a time of 54.59.

"This weekend was a great way for us to get into the outdoor season. We have a lot of work ahead but I know this group is up for the task."
 
Next Up
The Owls will travel to Starkville, Mississippi to compete in the Bulldog Relays hosted by Mississippi State on March 22-23.
