Game Day Storylines
• The Owls are looking for their fourth ASUN tournament win in program history, after recorded victories in 2011, 2017 and this season.
Amani Johnson captured the ASUN Freshman of the Year award. She is third Owl in a row to win the award after Carlotta Gianolla won it in 2016-17 and Kamiyah Street earned it last season.
Kamiyah Street was named to the ASUN First Team All-Conference list, which is just the second time in program history that a Kennesaw State player has been named to the first team.
Amani Johnson is coming off one of her most impressive performances of the season. The freshman showed zero nerves during the quarterfinals, netting a career-high 21 points to go along with seven rebounds and five assists.
• After not capturing a road win during the regular season, the Owls stunned No. 2 seeded Stetson in the quarterfinals.
• With the win, the Owls would advance the finals for the first time in program history.
• KSU is looking for its first win against FGCU this season.
Kamiyah Street comes into the semifinals having shot 521 times this season, which is a program record.
• The Owls recorded their largest margin of victory in program history over an ASUN conference opponent versus Lipscomb.
• Kennesaw State is the only program with two players in the top-15 in the country in minutes per game.
Kamiyah Street was featured on ESPN Sportcenter's Top 10 plays (No. 9) with her last-second shot to force overtime against North Alabama. She won ASUN Player of the week on Feb. 25 for her play against UNA and FGCU.
