The Kennesaw State men's tennis team returns to action with a pair of matches. The Owls will play at Georgia State on Friday (Mar.1) and host Austin Peay on Saturday (Mar.2) at 1 p.m. on the Betty Siegel Courts at KSU.Ā Ā
Scouting Georgia State
Georgia State is 4-5 so far this season. The Panthers were beaten 4-3 by No. 45 Florida Atlantic on Tuesday.

Scouting Austin Peay
The Governors are 2-6 this season. The Governors fell 7-0 to Louisville on Sunday.
Ā
The Series
This will be the third meeting between KSU and Georgia State. Georgia State leads the series 2-0 with wins in 2010 and 2011. The Owls will square off with Austin Peay for the fourth time on Saturday. KSU controls the series 3-1. The Owls picked up a 7-0 win over Austin Peay last season.
The Last Time Out
The Kennesaw State men's tennis team rolled to its second straight win at home on Sunday (Feb.24). KSU (2-3) took down Belmont 6-0 on the Betty Siegel Courts in Kennesaw.

The Owls took early control of the match winning the doubles point. After Belmont won the opening doubles match, KSU never looked back.
Gaston Muhammad and
Fermin Calvo Barcelo beat Zac Khan and Joan Valy 7-6 at No. 2. Moments later,
Bryan Triana and
Drew Lahey clinched the point with a 7-6 win over Marko Ilic and Hendrick Inno.

In singles action, the Owls dominated winning five matches.
Gaston Muhammad pushed the Owls lead to 2-0 with a 6-1, 6-4 win over Joan Valy at No. 3.Ā
Bryan Triana defeated Marko Ilic 6-2, 6-2 at No.2.
Harvey Maughan clinched the win for the Owls with a 6-2, 6-2 win at No. 6 over Jake Briggs.
Sebastian Osorio picked up his second win of the season with a 6-2, 6-2 win over Zak Khan.
Fermin Calvo Barcelo fell behind early in the first set but bounced back to collect a 6-4, 6-3 win over Hendrick Inno.
Next Up
The Owls will hit the road to face Chattanooga on Wednesday (Mar.6) at 2:30 p.m.
