KENNESAW, Ga.- The Kennesaw State men's tennis team rolled to its second straight win at home on Sunday (Feb.24). KSU (2-3) took down Belmont 6-0 on the Betty Siegel Courts in Kennesaw.
"We did a really good job in the doubles of hanging in there and closing out courts one and two," Director of TennisÂ
Matt Emery said."It was not our best doubles but I felt we were more confident and disciplined and that was the difference. It was tough as we didn't get to hit many balls during the week, especially outdoors. Today was about toughness, leaving any excuses at the door, and just taking care of the business. I'm proud of the guys for showing a lot of maturity in doing that."
Â
The Owls took early control of the match winning the doubles point. After Belmont won the opening doubles match, KSU never looked back.

Bryan Triana and
Drew Lahey clinched the point with a 7-6 win over Marko Ilic and Hendrick Inno.
In singles action, the Owls dominated winning five matches.
