LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Kennesaw State women's track and field team took home a third place finish at the ASUN Indoor Championship on Saturday at the Liberty Indoor Track and Field Complex.
Team Scoring
The women's team finished scoring 109 points in the two-day meet. Liberty secured the title with 187 points. Jacksonville grabbed second place with 149 points.
Gray Wins Most Valuable Performer
Redshirt senior
Jordan Gray was named Most Outstanding Performer of the meet after she scored 38 points during the meet.
Gray won the pentathlon and the long jump, was second in the shot put and pole vault and was fifth in the high jump.
Medal Winners
Jordan Gray grabbed the silver medal in the pole vault after clearing 3.55m (11'7.75").
Da'Yona Henry won the triple jump with a career-best leap of 12.36m (40'6.75").
Julija Tarvide secured the gold medal in the high jump after clearing 1.75m (5'8.75").
Brenda Ayuk collected to the bronze medal in the one mile run with a time of 4:59.88.
Ayuk returned to the track in the afternoon to finish third in the 800m with a career-best time of 2:10.07.

Next Up
Jordan Gray will compete in the NCAA Championships in the long jump and the pentathlon on March 8 in Birmingham, Ala.
The Owls open the outdoor season on March 15-16 at the two-day Yellow Jacket Invitational hosted by Georgia Tech.
