Owls Begin Road Swing In The Sunshine State

Game Day Storylines
• Kennesaw State is looking its first road victory of the season.
• The Owls recorded their largest margin of victory in program history over an ASUN conference opponent versus Lipscomb. 
• Kamiyah Street was featured on ESPN Sportscenter's Top 10 plays (No. 9) with her last-second shot to force overtime against North Alabama.
• The Owls have won three out of their last four contests marking the first time this season and first since November of 2017.
• Kamiyah Street had an impressive outing against Lipscomb, as she scored 25 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. It was her first double-double this season.
• After collecting her 124th career steal against the Lipscomb, Kamiyah Street moved up to fourth place in KSU history in career steals. Currently, she has 141 swipes.  Her seven steals against the Bisons were the most by a KSU player this season.
• Kamiyah Street attempted 27 field goals against NJIT which stands as the KSU 
Division I program record.
• KSU shot 45.8 percent from the field against Lipscomb, it's second-highest percentage against a conference opponent this season.
• This is the second time that these programs have met this season after the Eagles took the first game, 69-46.
• Alexis Poole had arguably one of the best individual performance of the season against Liberty, as she netted 27 points and collected 15 rebounds.
• In the first matchup this season, Johnson Poole led the team with 16 points.
• The overtime game against UNA was the second of the season and first victory in extra time.
• Rookie guard Amani Johnson has made an impact early in her collegiate career as she has collected five Freshman of the Week awards.

Opponent Notes
• FGCU is currently 22-4 on the season and is coming into Saturday's contest undefeated in conference play.
• The Eagles are a perfect 13-0 in ASUN play this season
• Florida Gulf Coast has two players that average double-digit points. The Eagles are led by Nasrin Ulel who averages 15.3 points per game. Keri Jewett-Giles is a significant contributor as well, as she averages 11.6 points.
• FGCU leads the the conference in nearly every category, including scoring offense, scoring margin, 3-point makes, turnovers forced and fewest turnovers.
• Lisa Zderadicka tops the ASUN in assist-to-turnover ratio, with a +2.45 margin. The figure ranks 27th in the country.
• Ulel leads the conference in 3-pointers made and attempted.

• Down eight points with 18.9 seconds in regulation, the Kennesaw State women's basketball team edged out North Alabama 74-72 in overtime after a buzzer-beater from Kamiyah Street sent the game into extra time. 
• Kamiyah Street netted her seventh game with 20-plus points
• UNA finished with 25 points in the first half for just the third time in 2018-19
• The back-to-back ASUN wins are the first since the 2016-17 season
• The Owls shot 47 percent from the floor, their second-highest total in ASUN play
• KSU went 9-12 from the free-throw line
• Kennesaw State forced 22 turnovers
