Two possessions later, Amani Johnson forced Lipscomb to take a timeout after burying a 3-pointer in the corner to take a 5-0 lead. The Owls didn't slow down as they took a 12-0 lead after a trifecta from Breanna Hoover at the 6:34 mark.

After another Hoover 3-pointer and a shifty move and score from Street, the Owls claimed a 19-8 advantage at the end of the first.

Kennesaw State started the second half on a 9-0 run, which included points from Johnson, Carlotta Gianolla and Street. The Owls saw the lead swell to 22 points at the 6:30 mark when Street drained a free-throw after making the basket.
