TUSCALOOSA, Ala.- The Kennesaw State women's tennis team fell 4-0 to Alabama on Sunday (Feb.10) at the Alabama Tennis Stadium.Â
"Overall, I am proud of how we competed, but I felt today we lacked the mental toughness needed to compete comfortably and have success with a tough team like Alabama," assistant coach
Kirsten Lewis said. "Time to go back to work and keep trusting in the process. We are excited to get another opportunity next Saturday vs Western Carolina."
Alabama (7-0) won all three doubles matches and three singles matches to secure the win.
Jessica Cantrell and
Aspen Jarrett put up good fights before their matches went unfinished.
The Owls host Western Carolina at 2 p.m. on Saturday (Feb.16) at the Betty Siegel Courts at KSU.
