Final Results

CLEMSON, S.C. – The Kennesaw State men's and women's track and field teams opened the 2019-20 indoor track and field season at the Clemson opener on Saturday.
 
School Record Performances

• Britiney Johnson established a new school record in the 600m after recording a time of 1:34.53 to finish fourth.
• Tanner Duffin won the shot put with a mark of 17.79m (58'4.5").
• Brenton Rosa tied the school record in the pole vault after he cleared 4.95m (16'2.75") to win the event.

 
 Event Wins

• Paris Williams won the 60m hurdles in a time of 7.93.
• Tariq Bradford collected the title in the triple jump after a leap of 15.07m (49'5.5").
• Tionna Fant secured a victory in the 200m with a time of 24.75.
• Makenzie Zeh ran time of 9.55.37 to win the 3K by more than 11 seconds.

 
Notable Performances

• Jada Smith finished third in the pole vault clearing 3.65m (11'11.75").
• Khiah Williams 5.82m (19'1.25") and Jozalyn Albright 5.64m (18'6") finished third and fourth in the long jump.
• Nia Seldon landed a toss of 17.50m (57'5") and Javon Joyner added a throw of 17.29m (56'8.75) for the Owls to take second and third in the weight throw.
• Da'Yona Henry (12.05m; 39'6.5") and Abigail Chanase (11.62m; 38'1.5") grabbed second and third in the triple jump.
• Tyler Blalock recorded a throw of 17.10m (56'1.25") to finish second in the shot put.
• Karl Joeaar landed a jump of 14.96m (49'1") and Qwazon Al-Khaliq leapt 14.93m (48'11.75") to acquire second and third in the triple jump.
• Jack Rhea (4.85m; 15'11), Stephen Smith (4.60m; 15'1) and Scott Simpson (4.45m; 14'7.25") took second, third and fourth in the pole vault.
