To begin the 2019-20 indoor track and field season, the Kennesaw State track and field teams will head to Clemson, S.C. participate in the Clemson Opener.
THE FIELD
The field for this weekend's meet includes Clemson, FAMU, Converse College, Kennesaw State, Fayetteville, Furman, USC Upstate, SC State, North Greenville, Western Carolina, Limestone, Winston Salem St, Georgia Southern, Anderson, USC, Union and Emmanuel.

LAST TEAM INDOOR MEET
The men's team took home a runner-up finish while the women secured third place at the 2019 ASUN Indoor Championships.
NEXT UP
The team will travel back to Clemson, S.C. for the Clemson Invitational on January 16-17, 2020.
NEWS AND NOTES
» The men's track and field team returns to the track this season looking to win the indoor and outdoor conference championships. Last year, KSU finished runner-up at both the indoor and outdoor championships.
» The men's team this season features 27 athletes including six seniors, six juniors, six sophomores and nine freshmen.
» The women's track and field team is in pursuit of its second ASUN titles on both sides.
» The women's team features 50 athletes on this year's roster with 18 freshmen, 16 sophomores, four juniors and 12 seniors.
» 53 Owls are scheduled to make their 2019-20 season debut at the Clemson Opener.
» This offseason the Owls added
Dennis Martin (sprints, hurdles and relays) and
Rachael Coelho (combined events) to the coaching staff. They are joined by volunteer coaches
Mike Judge,
Angus Fisher and
Erica Sergeant.
