KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State softball Head Coach Tripp MacKay is excited to announce that the Owls will play the USA Softball Women's National Team (WNT) on Friday, Apr. 3 in Columbus, Ga. as Team USA prepares for the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.
"What a great opportunity for our student-athletes to compete against Team USA. To play against this level of talent will be an experience that we will remember for a long time," said MacKay. "We look forward to seeing Team USA back on the world stage competing in the Olympics."
The exhibition will be held at the South Commons Softball Complex at 5 p.m. General admission is $15 and a VIP ticket is $25. Click here for tickets.
The game is part of the "Stand Beside Her" tour, which is a series of competitions and training opportunities for the 2020 USA WNT. The "Stand Beside Her" message encourages fans everywhere to stand united in their support of the WNT and the United States in their journey to the Olympic Games.
