"We were really pleased with this weekend and how the women ended the fall season," Director of Tennis
Matt Emery said. "We competed and played better each tournament this Fall, which was the goal. Congrats to Taylor and Brenna on winning their singles flights, which is not easy to do at a quality tournament like this. I love how we needed our fall season and can't wait to get the dual match season started in January."
In doubles, the freshmen duo ofÂ
Paola Cortez andÂ
Taylor Dean defeated Laura Bente and Hannah Davies of Memphis 6-2 to finish third in their draw.
Taylor Dean would beat Chunxi Guo of Troy 3-6, 6-4, 7-6 to win her singles flight.
