Head Coach Adam Bray on the Teams Performances Today
On the men's team …
"The men raced tough despite facing an uphill battle. We had one guy under the weather and suffered a rolled ankle mid race with another. Despite the set backs I am proud of the way the men's team competed hard. This group has a lot of potential and once we add some more depth through recruiting this team will make the climb towards the top of the ASUN Conference."
On the women's team …
"The women ran great today!! We talked about potentially going out there sneaking into 3rd place if we could put together a solid race from everyone and they were able to do just that.
Sarah Hendrick ran lights out and earned second team all-ASUN.
Katie Meyer had a tremendous race going and hung in there over the last 800m to finish 15th overall. We were able to get Rachel back from injury for this meet which helped a lot. I can't say enough about our three freshman ladies. They sealed the deal for us to finish 3rd as a team with
Ella Weaver earning a spot on the All-Freshmen team."
On the season overall…
"Overall this has been a great season and now we turn our attention towards the regional meet."
