KENNESAW, Ga. - Kennesaw State rolled over Mercer 92-64 inside the KSU Convocation Center to give KSU back-to-back wins and improve to 2-0 on its home court.
The 92 points scored by Kennesaw State was the second-most in Division I program history.Â
During the fourth quarter, Kamiyah Street netted her 1,000th point in a Kennesaw State uniform, becoming fourth member of the 1,000-point club in Kennesaw State program history.Â

Both squads were off to a quick start in the first quarter with each team hitting back-to-back shots.
Gillian Piccolino scored the first bucket of the contest with a crafty layup two minutes into the game. Mercer could not answer as the Owls went on a 15-0 run to end the first quarter with Street leading all scorers with 11 points.
Street continued her hot hand to begin the second quarter with a quick crossover and drive pass the defender and made layup. Mercer came back defensively, holding the Owls to just 16 points in the period.Â
The Owls continued to stretch their lead in the third quarter against the Bears.
Carlotta Gianolla was impressive in the second half, as she collected 23 points and 10 rebounds. Street had 17 points and five rebounds at the end of the third quarter. The Owls had a 22-point lead going into the fourth quarter (66-44).
Alexis Pool came alive in the fourth quarter with quick spin moves to score helping the Owls maintain their advantage. Street finished the game with 24 points after a nifty side step to convert the and-one basket, reaching her 1,000
th career point. Gianolla finished the game with 29 points and 11-rebounds, setting a season high in both categories.
Gianolla's 29 points tied career-high, while Poole finished with another double-double as she poured in 14 points and snagged 13 rebounds.
Amani Johnson was impressive for the Owls behind the arc, as she made three-of-six and ended with 14 points. Every player on the roster saw action for the Owls against the Bears, while Johnson and Gianolla ended with 39 minutes a piece.Â
KSU's free-throw shooting was near perfect, as the Owls went 29-33 from the charity stripe.Â
The Owls are back on the court on Sunday (Nov 17) in Statesboro, Ga., against Georgia Southern. Tipoff is set for 2 p.m.
