Final Results

Lynchburg, Va. – The Kennesaw State men's and women's track teams finished up action at the Liberty Kickoff on Saturday (Jan.26).
 
Event Wins

• Chuck McConville was the top collegiate in the weight throw with a toss of 17.39m (57'0).
• Julija Tarvide cleared 1.70m (5' 7") in the high jump to win the event.
• Chase Kennedy won the 3K in 8:41.80.

Personal Best Performances

• Da'Yona Henry had a leap of 5.56m (18' 3') in the long jump.
• Henry also jumped 12.04m (39' 6") in the triple jump to finish third.
• Tyler Blalock had a toss of 16.63m (54' 6.75") in the shot put to finish fourth. That throw ranks second in school history in indoor track.
• Tariq Bradford finished runner-up in the triple jump with a leap of 14.78m (48' 6).
• Christopher Jordan took third in the triple jump with a leap of 14.50m (47' 7").
• DJ Akindele grabbed third in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.17.
• Jordan Gray ran a time of 7.81 to finish eighth in the 60m.
• Brenda Ayuk finished third in the 1000m with a time of 5:02.23.
• Koi Williams posted a time of 1:55.61 to finish fifth in the 800m.
• Katie Meyer secured 12^th in the 3K in 10:31.32.
