Women's Basketball Seeks First Road Win At North Alabama

Game Day Storylines
• Kennesaw State is looking bounce back after dropping its last two ballgames to Liberty and FGCU
• KSU is looking for its first road win of the year. The Owls have not competed on the road since Jan. 5 at NJIT.
• After collecting her 103rd career steal against the NJIT, Kamiyah Street moved up to sixth place in KSU history in career steals. Currently, she has 117 swipes. 
• Kamiyah Street attempted 27 field goals against NJIT which stands as the KSU 
Division I program record.
• Alexis Poole was impressive from the fee-throw line against FGCU as she went a perfect 10-10.
• The Owls have recorded five or more blocks in three-straight games for the first time this season
• Kennesaw State forced Jacksonville into 28 turnovers, the most forced of any Division I opponent this season.
• Alexis Poole had arguably one of the best individual performance of the season against Liberty, as she netted 27 points and collected 15 rebounds.
• The Owls made six 3-pointers against JU, marking their second-highest total of 2018-19.
• Rookie guard Amani Johnson has made an impact early in her collegiate career as she has collected five Freshman of the Week awards. She has three such awards in a row.
• Following her career performance of 20 points and 13 rebounds against Georgia Southern, Simina Avram earned the ASUN Newcomer of the Week honors.
• Head coach Agnus Berenato, who is in her 32nd season as a Division I head coach, is in her third year leading the Owls. She has an all-time record of 466-464 (.503), and guided Kennesaw State to the ASUN Conference semifinals in 2017. 

Opponent Notes
• North Alabama is currently 13-2 on the season and is coming into Saturday's contest on a three-game winning streak versus NJIT, Jacksonville and Stetson. 
• This is the first year in the ASUN for the Lions and first as a Division I program. 
• North Alabama has three players that average double-digit points. The Lions are led by Brittany Panetti who averages 17.8 points per game. Ivy Wallen is a significant contributor as well, as she averages 12.7 points and Emma Wallen pours in 12.4 points per contest.
• Ivy Wallen is an impressive distributor, as she leads the league with 8.1 assists per game.
• It's first season in the ASUN, North Alabama has competed without issue as the Lions have won four conference games while only dropping one.

• This is the first meeting between the two schools. 

FGCU Recap
• The Owls (5-12) rallied late, but could not complete the comeback as they fell to FGCU (13-4) 69-46 on Saturday afternoon.
• Alexis Poole logged a career-high 3 blocks
• The Owls tied their season-high with eight blocks marking their third straight game with five or more blocks
• Kamiyah Street logged her 10th straight game in double-figures with 12 points
• Poole led the team with 16 points, her sixth straight game in double-figures
