Samford Open Final Results
Birmingham, Ala
. – The Kennesaw State men's and women's track teams competed in the Samford Open on Saturday, January 19.
School Record Performances
- Brenda Ayuk set the school record in the 1000m with a time of 2:51.54 to win the event.
Personal Best Performances
- Aseneth Williams had a leap of 5.46m (17'11") to finish third in the long jump.
- Tariq Bradford finished eighth in the long jump with a leap of 6.71m (22'00.25").
- Cameron Bolden posted a time of 6.81 in the 60m-dash semifinals.
- Christopher Jordan grabbed second in the triple jump with a leap of 14.44m (47'4.5").
- Brooke Aumer ran a time of 5:25.31 to finish fifth in the mile.
- Scott Simpson cleared 4.55m (14'11.00") in the pole vault.
