Match Preview
The Kennesaw State women's tennis team host Arkansas for a double header on Friday (Jan.18) as KSU opens the home portion of its schedule. 
Kennesaw State is looking to win its first match of the season. The Owls fell 7-0 at Kentucky on Wednesday (Jan.16).
The Owls will host 16 matches on the courts behind the Betty Siegel Rec Center on the campus of KSU.

Parking
Fans planning to attend Friday's doubleheader will need to park in the East Deck on floors 3-5 or the East lot. For directions to the East Deck and lot click here.  

Scouting Arkansas
Arkansas was 16-16 last season. The Razorbacks finished 3-10 in SEC play. Arkansas advanced to the semifinals of the SEC Tournament before falling 4-2 to Florida in the semifinals.  

The Series
Friday's match between Kennesaw State and Arkansas will be the first between the two programs. Arkansas is just the third SEC school KSU has faced. KSU has faced Auburn in 2011 and Kentucky to open this 2019 season.

The Last Time Out
The Kennesaw State women's tennis team opened the 2019 season with a 7-0 setback at Kentucky on Wednesday (Jan.16).
 
Kentucky (2-0) won three doubles matches and came out on top in each of the six singles contests.
 
In singles action, the Owls got a strong effort from Brenna Reilly. The junior won her first set 6-3, before dropping a pair of tight sets.
 
Wednesday marked the debuts of Juliana Castellanos, Lara Mehlsam, Kendall Nash and Zoe Wende in Owl uniforms.

Next Up
The Owls host Samford on Saturday (Jan.26) at 1 p.m. at the Betty Siegel Courts on the campus of KSU. Admission is free to all matches.
