Head CoachĀ David PoteetĀ on the Teams Performances TodayĀ
Ā
"We had some good performances on a very tough and loopy course. It was also a tough distance to adapt to in both races. We worked through this week because I knew we would be running odd distances, so this was a good week to push more. As hilly as this course was and a tough week of workouts, I knew some legs would be tired. This was a good early-season opportunity to gain more strength."

On the women's team
Ā
"Brenda Ayuk had another great race, running a converted 18:30 5k time. Caitlyn Farrell also ran well with an 18:57, followed by Katie Meyer's 19:18 5K converted time. Brooke Aumer ran what I think has been her best race with a 20:23 5K time."

Ā On the men's team
Ā
"The men were led again by Chase and Koi. A lot strength work is in the future for all the men, and once we get back to full strength, I expect better times as a team."

Notes
- The Bulldog Invitational was the Owls second meet of 2018.

- Today marked the second time that Ayuk and Kennedy have been the Owls top finishers in a meet.
