Race Preview
The Kennesaw State Cross Country teams are set to return to action at the Queens City Invite in Charlotte, North Carolina.

KSU will be competing in the Queens City Invite for the first time.
 
The Owls will compete against Barton, Belmont Abbey, Benedict- Men Only, Bob Jones, Bridgewater, Carson-Newman, Coker, Davidson- Women Only, Duke- Women Only, Elon, Embry Riddle, Ferrum, Florida Southern,Francis Marion, Gardner-Webb,Lenoir-Rhyne, Lees-McRae, Liberty, Louisburg, Mars Hill, Montreat, NC State, North Georgia-Women Only, UNC Pembroke, Pfeiffer, Presbyterian, Queens, Radford, Randolph, Reinhardt, SCAD, Southeastern, Spartanburg Methodist, Charlotte, UNC Pembroke, Washington & Lee- Men Only, Webber International and Western Carolina.
 
The women's 5k race will begin at 5 p.m. The men's 8k race is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m.

The Last Race
Owls Compete at Bulldog Invitational
The Kennesaw State cross country teams continued their season on Saturday, September 8 at the UGA Golf Course.

In the women's 5.5k, the Owls took home fourth place. Breda Ayuk led the way for Owls for the second consecutive meet finishing 12^th in 21:34.0. Caitlyn Farrell posted a time of 22:08.4 to finish 24^th. Katie Meyer crossed the line in a time of 22:35.5 to finish 28^th. Brooke Aumerfinished 40^th in 23:52.1 and Sarah Hendrick took 50^th with a time of 24:57.4. Alexandria Stevens (60^th, 25:58.4), Alicia Johnson (65^th, 26:49.0) and Gwen Setlock (69^th, 27:16.7) rounded out the running for the Owls.
  
 In the men's 7.5k race, sophomore Chase Kennedy led the Owls with a time of 25:35.1 to finish 20th. Koi Williams secured 28th with a time of 26:05.8. Colton Page finished 50^th in a time of 27:28.1, while Austin Muse took 52^nd in 27:29.3. Stephen Pipes rounded out the scoring for the Owls finishing 55^th in a time of 28:13.6. The men's team took home fourth place.
 
KSU Team Notes

- The Bulldog Invitational was the Owls second meet of 2018.

- The Bulldog Invitational marked the second time that Ayuk and Kennedy have been the Owls top finishers in a meet.
 
Next Up
The Owls will travel to Mount Berry, Georgia for the Berry Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 13.
