-- WHAT COACH BERENATO IS SAYING --
The Big Picture…
"I am excited about the 2018-19 schedule. Our basketball team will have a variety of competition, travel and unique experiences with this schedule. I look forward to seeing how year three goes with the addition of four new student-athletes. We will be challenged on a daily basis playing the best of the best."
Â
The In-season Tournaments…
"I look forward to competing in the Seton Hill Classic and getting back to Jersey to take on Big East member Seton Hall and UMBC. This is a great test for our young team on the opening weekend of play. The ladies are excited about the Cancun Challenge, as many have never been there before. Idaho State and Big Ten member Michigan State will be great challenges and an awesome experience for our team."
Â
It's all Peachy...
"Playing Georgia Tech, Mercer, Georgia Southern and Georgia State keeps us competing against Peach State schools and I want to establish this as an annual challenge for in-state rivals."
Â
Looking Towards the League…
"Our ASUN Conference schedule is difficult to say the least, but I look forward to the opportunity to get better and be more competitive in our league. The addition of Liberty takes us up a notch in strength of schedule, as they were a perennial Big South Champion and NCAA lock. Overall, I am fired up to get started and enjoy our third year of competition and see how much our ladies have learned and improved."
Â
The BIG Promotions...
"Our schedule is also terrific for promotions with School Day scheduled for Jan. 29 against UNF, our annual
Pink Game slated for Feb. 9 against NJIT and Crowd The Convo set for Feb. 16 against Lipscomb."
