Men's Tennis Schedule

Kennesaw, Ga. — Director of Tennis Matt Emery announced the 2018-19 Kennesaw State men's tennis schedule on Friday.

"Our staff is really excited about our upcoming fall schedule," Emery said. "Our men will be competing against some of the toughest competition in the country, and we can't wait to see what they can do."

The schedule consists of five fall tournaments and 21 spring matches.

KSU opens the fall season at the Southern Intercollegiate (Sept.7-9). After a brief break, KSU returns to the court at the Mercer Gridiron Classic (Oct.5-7) and the ITA Regional Championships (Oct.17-21). The Owls will play at the Wake Forest Fall Invite and the Samford Hidden Dual (Nov.9-11).

12 of the Owls 21 spring matches will take place at home on the Betty Siegel Courts.

KSU begins the spring season vs. Connecticut on February 3, 2019.

The Owls will play at Kentucky on February 10.

 "We are also very excited about adding a Top 20 program in Kentucky to the spring slate. Like our women's team, we are playing the majority of our spring dual matches at home, giving our fans tons of opportunities to get out and support the team. I know the guys are excited to compete and prove themselves against a very challenging schedule," Emery said.
 
The non-conference home slate includes Samford (Feb.17), Belmont (Feb.24) and Jacksonville State (Feb.27).

KSU will host ASUN Conference opponents Liberty (Mar.23), North Alabama (Mar.30) and North Florida (Apr.4).

The 2019 ASUN Conference Tournament is scheduled for April 18-20 in Deland, Florida on the campus of Stetson University.

The NCAA Tournament opens with first and second round action May 3-5. The top 16 teams will advance to Super Regional play at the campus site of the higher seeds May 11. The final eight teams will move on to the national championships at the USTA National Campus in Lake Nona, Fla on May 16-20.
