Amateur Open of Flanders Results
KENNESAW, Ga. – Charlotte Charrayre,
Henriette Nielsen and
Clara Aveling have continued their strong play this summer.
"This is an amazing summer for the Owls thus far with two more victories and a runner up performance," head coach
Rhyll Brinsmead said. "I'm so proud of the entire team for working so hard and earning great results. They love to compete and this preparation is key for our 2018/19 season."
Charrayre won the Championat De Golf Universitare at Golf la Rochelle in Marsilly, France on June, 19-21. The rising senior carded rounds of 74-75-77 for a 10-over par 232 and got the win by six shots.
Nielsen secured the Danish Match Play Championships title at Kellers Park Club on June, 22-24 in Børkop, Denmark. After winning her first round match in 19 holes and her second round and quarterfinal matches 2&1, Nielsen picked a 6&5 win over Louise Høugh in the semifinals. The recently graduated Owl
Henriette Nielsen collected the title defeating Camilla Nielsen 3&2.
Aveling grabbed a runner-up finish at the Amateur Open of Flanders. The rising redshirt-junior posted rounds of 72-76-71 for a 3-over par total of 219 at Koksojde Golf Ter Hille in Koksijde, Belgium.
