JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Kennesaw State saw its 2018 season come to an end as the Stetson Hatters defeated the Owls 2-1 at Harmon Field in Jacksonville, Florida.
Brooks Buckler had one of his best outings of the season going 8.0 innings and only giving up two runs on five hits.

THE STORYLINES:
· Buckler went head to head with Stetson's ace and potential future first-round draft pick Logan Gilbert. Buckler finished the game only giving up two runs on five hits over 8.0 innings. He was the only pitcher in the game for the Owls.
· Kennesaw State got on the board first in the fourth inning with some two-out magic. After a
Jake Franklin double,
Terence Norman singled him home and Franklin beat the throw from right field.
· Stetson came through in the seventh and pushed two runs across home plate with a two-out double to right center to take their first lead of the game at 2-1.
· In the ninth, Franklin got his second double of the game with one out, but KSU couldn't get a hit to tie up the game.
· Kennesaw State outhit Stetson 7-5.
· Franklin and
Tyler Simon both led Kennesaw State with two hits as each player went 2-4 in the game.
