KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State head women's basketball coach Agnus Berenato added a fourth player to the 2018 recruiting class on Friday, signing Erica Moore to a National Letter of Intent.
 
Moore joins the Owls after spending the last two seasons as a starting guard at Independence Community College where she averaged 11.1 points, 3.4 rebounds 2.1 assists and 2.0 steals per game as a sophomore. She earned All-KJCC first team honors and was named All-Region second team as she led her team to a 15-1 record at home and a runner-up finish in NJCAA Region IV.
 
The Lizella, Georgia, native played her prep career at Howard High School in Macon, Georgia, where she was a four-year starter and became the Huskies' all-time leading scorer, recording 1,780 career points. As a senior, Moore was named first team All-Middle Georgia, first team All-Region and first team All-State. She garnered most valuable player honors following her senior season and was the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame scholar athlete recipient in 2015-16.
 
She averaged over 20.0 points per game during her sophomore and junior seasons at Howard High school, earning All-Region and All-State honors along the way. Moore was voted the team's most outstanding offensive player three consecutive years and led her squad to the elite eight of the state tournament as a freshman.
 
Moore joins an already loaded recruiting class that features Amani Johnson (North Versailles, Pa. / East Allegheny HS), Peyton Lewis (Hampton, Ga. / Locust Grove HS) and Kate Head (Brisbane, Australia / Ipswich Girls' Grammar School).
