The Kennesaw State women's track and field team will open the postseason at the ASUN Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships May 11-12 as the Owls will look to win their second consecutive conference title.

THE COMPETITION: 
The Owls will compete against North Florida, Lipscomb, USC Upstate, Jacksonville and NJIT.
 
LAST TEAM OUTDOOR MEET
The Kennesaw State track and field teams wrapped up the regular season at the North Florida Invite on Friday (Apr.27). The Owls set two school records and had many strong performances.
 
NEXT UP
» Athletes that are in the top 48 in the East Region in an event will get the opportunity to compete in the preliminary rounds for the NCAA Championships. The preliminary rounds are May 24-26 at the University of South Florida for the NCAA East Region.
  
 NEWS AND NOTES 
» The women's team leads the ASUN in 9 of 21 events headed into action this weekend. Jocselyn Powell leads in the 100m hurdles (13.15) and 400m hurdles (57.28). Aliyah Whisby leads the high jump with a clearance of 1.78 (5'10). Erica Seregeant carries the lead in the pole vault with a leap of 6.35m (20'10").Nia Seldon holds the lead in the hammer throw with a toss of 55.24m (181'3"). Aliyah Whisby holds the top spot in the heptathlon at 5590 points.
