Final Results
Daytona Beach, Fl. – The Kennesaw State cheerleading team won a national championship at the 2018 NCA Collegiate Nationals.
In their first time competing at the championships as an all-girl squad, the Owls competed in a routine of dancing, stunting and tumbling. The Owls scored 97.63 points to pick up the title in the Intermediate Division I All-Girls section. KSU finished ahead of 12 other schools from across the country to earn the title.
"The girls did a great job with hitting all the elements and put a solid routine out on the floor," Head Cheerleading Coach
Charlie Asciutto said. "The girls worked so hard all season to stay consistent and the hard work really paid off with one of the highest scores out of all the divisions of the weekend."
