THE STORYLINE:
· Kennesaw State tried to make its second comeback in as many days, but Stetson held on in the ninth inning for the 7-6 victory at Stillwell Stadium on Saturday, April 7.
· The Owls trailed by two in the ninth and loaded the bases, but could only get one across the plate to fall to the Hatters.
· David Chabut led the Owls going 4-5 from the plate on the afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED: 
· Kennesaw State got off to a hot start pushing two runs across in the first inning as Griffin Helms and Jake Franklin both picked up an RBI.
· Stetson struck back quickly with four runs in the second inning.
· In the fourth inning, Garrett Hodges pulled the Owls closer with a home run with two outs to get KSU within one.
· In the next inning, Kennesaw State's Franklin got his second RBI of the afternoon knocking in Tyler Simon to tie up the score at 4.
· After the sixth, the Owls loaded the bases in the eighth and ninth innings, but could only muster one run over those two innings.

UP NEXT
Kennesaw State will finish the series with Stetson on Sunday, April 8 at 1 p.m. at Stillwell Stadium.
