Deland, Fla. – The Kennesaw State women's tennis team fell 6-1 to Stetson on Thursday (Apr.5) at the Mandy Stoll Tennis Center.

Stetson won two doubles matches and came out on top in five of the six singles contests.

Kennedy Craig picked up a win for KSU as her opponent Lucie Renault had to retire after the first set.
Â
After dropping the opening set 1-6,
Alexandra Mercado won 6-2 in the second set before falling 7-0 in a tiebreaker in the third set to Arijana Korac at number one singles.

The Owls (1-13) are next in action on Saturday (Apr. 7) when it travels to Jacksonville, Fla. to take on North Florida beginning at 12 p.m.
