DELAND, Fla.Ā ā The Kennesaw State men's tennis team came up on the short end of a 5-2 loss to Stetson on Thursday evening (Apr.5) on the Mandy Stoll Tennis Courts.

"Today was a great college match between two tough teams," Director of Tennis
Eduardo Rincon said. "We will regroup and get ready for UNF on Saturday. We did a good job in all three doubles and we executed well."

The Owls picked up the doubles point
Drew Lahey and
Bryan Triana beat Malik Bhatnagar and Angus Bradshaw 6-1 at No.2 doubles.
Fermin Calvo Barcelo and
Manuel Castellanos defeated Linus Bergevi and Colter DeCoste, 6-4 to clinch the point.

The reigning ASUN Player of the Week,
Fermin Calvo Barcelo was able to get past Malik Bhatnagar 6-3, 1-6, 7-6 to win his tenth consecutive singles match.

Bryan Triana and
Manuel Castellanos both took their matches to three sets before falling.

The Owls (7-8) are next in action on Saturday (Apr. 7) when it travels to Jacksonville, Fla. to take on North Florida beginning at 4 p.m.
