Tennis Preview
The Kennesaw State men's tennis squad enters the 2018 ASUN Championships as the No. 5 seed and will take on No. 4 Lipscomb Friday morning in the opening round. The winner will move on to take on No. 1 seed North Florida.

The Owls (8-10, 2-4) dropped a hard-fought 5-2 final to the Bisons on March 31Â in Kennesaw, Ga. and will look to turn things around against Stetson where it matters most.Â

KSU will be making its fourth-straight appearance in the ASUN Tournament. The Owls are 1-3 all-time in ASUN Tournament action.

About Lipscomb
The Bisons are 8-11 on the season and were 3-3 in ASUN play. Victor Chaw who is 14-4 in singles action this season leads Lipscomb. Geoff Hernandez is in his first season as head coach at Lipscomb.
The Last Time Out
The Kennesaw State men's tennis team dropped a 5-2 decision at USC Upstate on Saturday (Apr.14) at the Upstate Tennis Complex.

Upstate won two doubles matches and came out on top in three singles matches.

In doubles, KSU picked up a win from
Lucas de Torres Curth and
Corey Smith who defeated Fernando Bernardes and Samuel Schiano 6-3.

Lucas de Torres Curth (KSU) picked up his second straight match beating Francisco Neto 6-3, 6-3 at No.2 singles.

 The reigning ASUN Player of the Week,
Fermin Calvo Barcelo was able to beat Felix Ewers 6-4, 7-6 (5-0) to win his 13th consecutive singles match at No.1 singles.
Next Up
The winner of the Kennesaw State and Lipscomb match advances to Saturday's semifinal vs North Florida at 9 a.m. on April 21 at the UNF Tennis Complex.
